Zach & Farrel’s Website: Heart + Soul Food – The Acts Kitchen
Show Notes
Do people with chronic illness get a pass when it comes to sharing the good news of Jesus? On this edition of God in The Ordinary we meet Zack and Farrel DeBaltzo, who are winning their battle against Cystic Fibrosis, without missing a beat when it comes to revealing God in their everyday lives.
As a married couple who both have Cystic Fibrosis (a disease commonly known as ‘CF’) they have experienced extreme levels of the disease and been hospitalized multiple times, sometimes even reaching crisis levels. But they have never let CF stop them from allowing God to use them right where they were. We’ll learn how they have shared the truth of Jesus through casseroles, taxi driving, large medical conferences, and even at truck stops in the middle of Texas.
God has allowed Zack to use exercise as part of his healing journey and we learn how and why he shares his home gym with others. Farrel talks about how she has seen God using her through her knowledge of specific foods that are helpful to people with Cystic Fibrosis.
This couple will bring you a healthy measure of inspiration as they help you to see how to share what you have with those who need to know the joy and hope found in Jesus.
